28 February 2008   LITTER HITTERS!!
We all want to live in a safe, clean, environment...Somewhere we can be proud of. Our school is an important part of the community and as such, we are trying to make it as warm and inviting as possible. Within school the children are taught to, respect those around them and respect their surroundings, with this in mind we have recently teamed up with Oadby and Wigston Borough Council to improve the school grounds and free it from the scourge known as LITTER!! O&WBC have kindly donated litter picking equipment so that we can do the job safely. Litter picking has been a big success in making the school much cleaner and tidier. We have continued working in small groups on a Thursday lunch-time.  More...
