Information for Parents of Pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

All Saints Primary School provides a broad and balanced curriculum for all our pupils including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and ensures full curriculum entitlement and access.

We have two SENCos (Special educational Needs Co-ordinators)

Miss Kerrie White  (NASEN) and Mrs Amy Vickerman.  Miss White and Mrs Vickerman work together to lead SEND at All Saints, however Mrs Vickerman focuses on EYFS and KS1 and Miss White KS2.

All teachers are teachers of SEND pupils, however we also have Teaching Assistants who have specialist training to work with pupils with particular needs.

We are committed to maximum integration to  meet individual needs, the highest quality of education for all pupils and the efficient use of resources.

On these pages you will find details of our provision and policies for SEND pupils.

We aim to help children, young people, and parents/carers to find information and support as smoothly as possible. Encouraging and welcoming support and advice from external, internal and parental knowledge.

Our school intends to link closely and align itself to the local authority local offer, and information about Leicestershire’s local offer regarding SEND can be found at www.leics.gov.uk. The aims of All Saints Primary School are based on the values derived from the Statement of Principles adopted by the LA and guided by the DfE Code Of Practice for SEND
